Unpacking my stuff: Bourgeneuf
« on: April 21, 2018, 07:48:21 PM »
So, time to show what is in my boxes!
I'll start with the first world... not made, but managed to complete:   :stars: BOURGENEUF!  :stars:
A little French town, for those of you who don't know the place.

It's on a medium map with Champs les Sims distant terrain (with a mountain to hide that Eiffel tower!  )

You can find it here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/kcmff7kdrvvnaac/Bourgeneuf.Sims3Pack

And this is the latest save that goes with it: http://www.mediafire.com/file/1acnu2avwdc0yae/Bourgeneuf_14.sims3.rar

Now, so there is no surprise later: I have CC, quite a bit of it. What can I say? can't live (and build, same thing for me )without!
Also, I use the store stuff, including Worlds, decrapped. I prefer it that way, so that's what you get.

Also, one EA update broke Bourgenuef at some point, and I had to do some emergency repairs on the fly. I STRONGLY suggest to use the save since it includes said repairs.
Otherwise, if you got questions, I don't bite (usually  )
Okay, been putting up wallpaper all day, so I'm knackered  :Yawn2: See ya all later!  :sleeping2:

Manu, I love this! I especially like the little town centre and the way you've painted the farmlands

What a cute and improved version of France! Very lovely! Can you maybe give some information or link to it if you already put it somewhere what EP/store content is required and maybe if all cc is packed with the world or what is required? *off to download*

Oh God, Norn, that's an old one.... Lemme think... :dizzy:
I recall I made that one at the same time Supernatural came out, so it includes all EPs up to that.

As for Store Worlds, I have everything except Lunar Lakes, but decrapped, as I said. Store sets about same.
As CC, weeeell  I have most of Sandy stuff, Awesims cornices and windows, Cyclonesue railway sets.
Maybe I should upload my CC folder, since I have one for each world?

I did post about it at TSD while I was building the thing. You can find stuff there under "Manu in CAW" and "return to Bourgeneuf" threads, if you're interested.

Hm, maybe sharing your cc folder is a good idea. I'm sure I have some of the stuff already so I could sort through it.

Would you have a link to the threads at TSD? I cannot find them  :loser: I found  Manic Manu in CAW:Nectary and Garden city but as all the images are gone it's hard to tell if this is Bourgeneuf or a different world.

Okay, here are my TSD threads dedicated to Bourgeneuf:

http://www.thesimsdaily.net/showthread.php?tid=3653

and there:

http://www.thesimsdaily.net/showthread.php?tid=3526

I stayed away from photobucket since their lastest dick move and ignored all their offered "updates" so I hope the pics are visible... I can see them, but what do I know?  :silly:

I'll see what I can do about that CC folder when I got a bit more time.

The « Genuine Frenchwoman » (I’m not the one who said that, but it sounds good) who lives in England.

Just read through the old threads and of course I had to install! It's a wonderful world, and am enjoying it.

(I can't find a Town Hall, so will add one. The rest is so awesome!)

There is a town hall, it's that building with columns near the park...  Oh!  :ligthbulb: We probably don't have the same RH rugs!

Love this world! I currently have a sim - Sofia Carlton - living there.  Since all the rabbit holes are grouped in the town center, she can bicycle to work. Ditto for when she goes out after work.
BTW, if you guys want your mayor of this town to match Sandy's town posters, hop over to her site and grab Jean-Etienne http://aroundthesims3.com/sims/sims_male_04.shtml
She did a lot of CC with his face on it, so he's perfect for the job.

That was it. I found it yesterday and put a rug in - the Mairie?

It's the building just to the right of the bakery. (I think that lot is designated laundry, though) To the right of the city hall is the post office. They are all on the side of the park that is directly across from all those EA rabbithole builds. Hope that helps.
